Welcome to the WZ Physical Culture and Dance Web site (formerly Western Zone). Our goal is to provide you with useful information about Physical Culture that we hope makes it easier for you to Exercise with Us.

WZ Physical Culture and Dance is a modern low impact form of exercise. It involves marching and several exercises which are learnt throughout the year in preparation for competitions. Physical Culture promotes good posture and presentation to ensure good physical health.

 WZ has ladies as mature as 70.The exercises are structured according to the ability of the age group and modern, popular music is used. WZ Physical Culture and Dance operates under a grading system. This allows for beginners to compete against beginners. These start at C Grade and work up to Advanced level.

Physical culture is a great form of exercise; it enables you to go to a level that is comfortable for you. It is also relaxing and a great weekly social outing for all ages.

WZ Physical Culture and Dance is a friendly sport encouraging both individual and team involvement for all members. The girls and ladies at WZ Physical Culture and Dance pride themselves on being competitive while being good friends which promotes good sportsmanship.
The WZ members compete in a number of competitions throughout the year. These include Teams, Champion Girl and Club Competition. Then there is the major competition, which is the culmination of all the hard work throughout the year, Grand Final.
